A poem for my dying dream

My Dying Dream

I just found your letter
telling me you were gone
and even though you have left me
my love will carry on

you talk about your life
mixed with hate and a blade
now selfish and alone
you took what we made

together we trusted
and considered ourselves
to be one and only
as your letter it says

but as for me
I'm not far behind
with this blade in my hand
and this poem I've signed
