the whole kit is just for the press and one caliber conversion kit it does not include the following.

1. Strong mount
2. Additional Straight Lever
3. Case Feeder - (it just shows how it would look)
4. Additional Conversion kits for different calibers
5. Additional quick change kit (not really necessary but it does make it faster)
6. Powder check system
7. Powder alarm
8. Extra bins
9. pick up tubes
10. primer plate
11. dust cover
12. repair/maintenance kit

and so on....

you could start without all that... it just good to have!

01. Startup costs = ? Depends on your set up (RL550b around 40-50k,XL 650 70-75k for basic set up)
02. Equipments Needed
a.) Press - Dillon brands, for starter like you RL550b will do
b.) Dies - if you buy a Dillon press, 1 set of die comes with it, if you plan to load multiple calibers, you have to buy diff die set and caliber conversion kit (Contains: Shellplate, powder funnel, and locator buttons.). I advice you to buy a tool head & powder system for each caliber (this will speed up your caliber change and you will not always calibrate your powder, flare settings, overall height, crimp settings for every caliber change)
c.) Scale- Dillon's 'Eliminator' Scale or if you have high budget, get D-Terminator Electronic Scale.
d.) Powder measure/dispenser- comes free with the press. P5,800 if sold separately.
e.) Calipers- any accurate brand, digital preferred.
h.) Trimmer for revolver or rifle cartridges- you dont need this one unless you do custom loads, but handy if you want to explore more on custom reloading. (i have this also)
03. ABC's of Reloading- lots of reference on the net.
04. Reloading manuals- lots of reference on the net. loading charts also available for factory loads and custom loads
05. Cost of Primer / how many pcs.? 1,500- 1,650/1000 pcs. depends on size, brand & source
06. Cost of Lead Tips / how many pcs.? 1,650- 1,850/1000 pcs. depends on caliber, weight, quality & source.
07. Cost of Teflon Tips / how many pcs.? 2,000- 2,500/1000 pcs.depends on caliber, weight, quality & source.
08. Kinds Powder? i recommend VihtaVuori brand, 1,600/lb. available in fast, moderate & slow burning rate
09. Primer Alarm- comes free with the press
10. Small Tubes and Large Tubes for Primers- comes free with the press
11. 10 Primer Pick Up Tubes- dont need this buy. (with 1 pick up tube with a dillon RL550b i can load 400-500 rounds per hour) i dont advice you to load fast. if your demand is great, buy a XL650 or Super 1050 (this is a commercial grade machine, is capable of loading 1,000 to 1,200 rounds per hour)
12.Case Guage- for each caliber (you need this to check your cases)
13. License for your reloading press.
14. Case tumbler- clean cases are smooth to reload.
